MyPSland.com is an idea, which began to develop in my mind, when the most recent violence in the middle east erupted. Considering the that there is not enough information provided via the mainstream media, I decided to start this website and post an actual document issued by the British Empire in 1932, way before the establishment of the state of Israel. The document is an extract of the registry of land (deed) and shows that my great grand father owned approx. 1 acre of land in the village of Yahudiya.  What I know from my father is that the family owned a farm in the area, but so far this is the only document I could find, which refers to a property in the village itself. What I understand is that the original arab name of the village is Al-'Abbasiyya, but it was renamed by the British. This is what I found on Wikipedia:

Al-'Abbasiyya (Arabic: العبْاسِيّة), also known as al-Yahudiya (Arabic: اليهودية), was a Palestinian Arab village in the Jaffa Subdistrict. It was attacked under Operation Hametz during the 1948 Palestine War, and finally depopulated under Operation Dani. It was located 13 km east of Jaffa. Currently this land is located in the state of Israel.

I obtained the document from my Father. Currently I am still examining the document, but I have posted it below anyways. The extract from the registry of lands is certified in 1960. As far as I know, my great grandfather was killed by zionist terrorists and my grandfather and my grandmother (who was pregnant with her first child – my father) ran to what now is called the West Bank.  They settled in a refugee camp called Agbat Jaber, in the vicinity of  the city of Jericho. This is where my father was born...

In 1958 the family moved to Jordan, where they live now. Several of my father's siblings went to universities in other countries and over time moved to the west. They never felt comfortable in Jordan as Palestinians are treated as lower tier citizens and are not allowed to participate in the power structure of the country, despite that they are probably half of the population.  Considering the close ties of the Jordanian kingdom to the west it looks like it was created as part of the colonial project as a buffer zone...

I have posted a picture of the original document below. I have scratched some numbers and names for privacy reasons. I will keep editing and improving the site as time permits...If anybody affected by the colonial project of the west in Palestine, would like to post deeds of land or their stories, please contact me via the contact form.
